We will leave Marrakech at 7 o’clock morning. We will drive across Tizi n Tichka pass. We sometimes stop to take a breath and rest, so you have the chance to enjoy the landscape, take îctures to memorize the souvenirs you spend with Rihabmed team. We will take breakfast on the road and we will continue until the town of Tilouet to visit its historical Kasbahs. El-Hadj Thami (Pasha Thami El Glaoui) built the Kasbah in the early 20th century.
He died in 1956 in total indifference for having denied the national cause, and the kasbah has been abandoned since that date. It is now in ruins, subject to climatic hazards.
You cannot imagine seeing the palace from the outside, the riches that can be found inside, certainly one of the most beautiful kasbah in the region after the palace of Bahia.
Before reaching Ouarzazate, we will drive you to visit Ksar Ait Benhaddou. It is located in the valley of Ounila, south of Telouet, stronghold of Glaoui, valley which was a traditional crossing point of the caravans linking Marrakech south of the Sahara.This is a striking example of traditional southern Moroccan architecture, on the side of a hill at the top of which was a collective attic (an agadir).The village is a group of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, the ksar, which is a type of traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses are grouped within its defensive walls reinforced by corner towers. Some of its dwellings seem to be small castles with their high towers decorated with raw brick designs.
The oldest constructions date from the seventeenth century. The site would have been one of the many trading posts that linked Saharan Africa to Marrakech – you can still see a fondouk.
We’ll have our lunch. Then we will continue our trip to visit some studios where famous and known films were turned. Leaving Ouarzazate to the north east will lead us to Skoura, a beautiful Oasis where marvelous Kasbahs are decorating the area. After that, we will continue toward Dades Valley. We will spend the night in Daddes Valley.
You have the chance to visit other Saharian places and enjoy the beauty of golden sandy dunes. You will discover Todgha , then the Gorge of Todgha and you have a visit to the small town of Tinjdad. After lunch we’ll drive directly to Erfoud, the capital of the East and the symbol of simplicity, after that we will explore Rissani city, the cradle of Sijilmasa’s civilization and Alaoui Dynasty. Then we will arrive to the magic of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi which is one of the tallest and biggest dunes area of the Moroccan SAHARA [Where the second is Erg Chigaga, in Mhamid El Ghizlane].
It’s time to take a rest after taking a Berber tea with nomads. At 5h30 pm, camels will take you from the hotel on a trip to enjoy the beauty of Gold dunes to watch the sunset and drink a tea with nomads in the camp under the golden sunlight. Different rhythms of southern music will be accompanying you all the way. You will spend the overnight in the tent.
Before Sunrise, we’ll ride camels where you’ll enjoy the amazing view of the sunshine in the beautiful sky. We’ll come back to the hotel to have breakfast and drive then toward Fez. On our way to Fez we’ll pass to explore a lot of beautiful places like Arfoud, Errachidia, Ziz Valley, One of the most amazing and fabulous Oasis and valleys in the world, gathering the beauty of sand, the gold of palms and the blueness of the water.We will cross the biggest cedar forest in Africa surrounding beautiful small cities like Azrou and Ifrane where we will have short pauses. We will arrive to Fez in less than an hour, and then we’ll drive you to the hotel or Riyad where you’ll spend 3 days along the tour.
We’ll drive you to another imperial city, known as Ismaili capital, Meknes. It is located in the north of Morocco. It is famous for its imperial past, with remains such as Bab Mansour, a huge door with vaults and mosaic tiles. The door leads to the interior of the ancient imperial city.
The mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl, which made the city the capital in the seventeenth century, includes courtyards and fountains. To the south, the vast Heri es-Souani complex once housed stables and food warehouses.
Let’s move to the ruins of an ancient roman city, Volubilis, before we explore a small beautiful and historical town called Moulay Driss Zarhoun. In the end of our tour, the road will drive us to Rabat where we spend the last night in the Riyad.
It is time to visit the capital of Morocco, where You have the chance to visit the Royal Palace and the tower of Hassan, Kasbah Oudayas and then the Mausoleum of Mohammed 5 ,the grandfather of the Moroccan King. We’ll lead you to Casablanca, to the archaic and new city, the metropolitan city of Morocco and the most crowded one, where you visit the most beautiful mosque in the world which is Mosque Hassan II, it is one of the famous historical Monuments in Morocco which built on the sea.
