10 days Morocco From north to south


Day 1 : The Arrival To Casablanca

You will arrive to Casablanca airport, where we will meet you and drive you to the hotel.

Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah – Tangier

After breakfast, we will start our day with a short tour in Casablanca. It is a big city that contains different Moroccan people who come from different places in Morocco. It is the capital of economy. It has a famous mosque as a historical monument, called Hassan two. From the outside we will visit it during our tour.
Then, we continue our trip to the capital of Morocco Rabat– where we will visit the most significant monuments of the city, in particular the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum and walk the Oudaya Kasbah which takes place near to the Atlantic coast. After visiting Rabat, we move now to the north to visit one of the beautiful cities called Asilah, a charming town with whitewashed buildings with blue color located on the ocean.
We will pass through the narrow streets of the Medina, where the stories of the ancient peoples who reigned here in the past, your guide of Rihabmed will help you to know more information about this beautiful city. The arrival will be in Tangier where you can have dinner and prepare for the next day’s activities.

Day 3 : Tangier – The Rif Mountains, Tetouan And Chefchaouen

After breakfast we will start our day with a visit to Tangier. It is located on the Strait of Gibraltar, one of the most important places in the Mediterranean. We will walk through the alleys of the center, enjoying the atmosphere of the past. In the beginning of the 20th century, the city enjoyed a lucky period of splendor. Tangier in 1923 was declared a neutral zone without taxes and thus attracted many traders, businessmen and inevitably famous artists who spent long periods of stay here: from Matisse to Dumas, from Majorelle to Delacroix.
In the afternoon with the off-road vehicles we enter the green and mountainous Rif Region, away from mass tourism. We will discover the villages of Tetouan and Chefchaouen, authentic whitewashed jewels of white and blue, magnificent villages set in the mountains. So enjoy the beauty of these blue cities. Your dinner and night will be at the hotel in Chefchaouen.
Tangier constitutes since the time of the Phoenicians a strategic point between Africa and Europe. On the hillside, its whitewashed medina features the Dar el Makhzen, an ancient sultan’s palace now a museum of ancient objects in Morocco. Housed in a former Moorish-style, the Museum of American Legation, also in the Medina, traces the history of the first diplomatic relations between the United States and Morocco.

Day 4 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast in your riad, you will start travelling to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is an ancient Berber and Romanized city, capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, located in the plain of Saiss in Morocco, on the banks of the Wadi Rhoumane, river of the suburbs of Meknes, not far from the holy city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun where rest Idriss I, founder of the Idrissid dynasty.
The archaeological site of Volubilis is located in the rural commune of Oualili, which depends on the prefecture of Meknes and the region of Fes-Meknes.
Partially discovered today, the ancient city emerged from the third century BC. AD as Punic settlement and develops rapidly from the moment it enters the Roman fold, to exceed an area of 42 hectares.
In Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum.
After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you will get a chance to see the wonderfully preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city layout. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside we will pass by the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for taking pictures. You’ll get to Fes at the end of the afternoon and check in to your riad within the Medina.

Day 5 : Fes, The Labyrinth Of The Medina

You will wake up early morning and have your breakfast in the Riad. Then, you will start your tour to explore the old Medina where you will visit the many hidden secrets that only the inhabitants of the place know about. Fez is located in northeastern Morocco often considered as the cultural capital of the country. It is mainly famous for the fortified medina of Fez El Bali, with medieval merinide architecture, lively souks and old-fashioned atmosphere.
The medina houses religious schools such as the Bou Inania and Al Attarine Medersas dating back to the 14th century, both decorated with carved cedar panels and delicate mosaics. Fes served as the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world.
Your guided tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. After lunch you will also see the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, where you will have the chance to visit one of the few living synagogues in Morocco.
Your tour of Fes includes a short visit to the famous ceramic factory, and then you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. In the afternoon we will visit the new city for a drink. At the end of the visits return to the Riad to relax and have a rest night .

Day 6 : Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga And Camel Trek

After a delicious breakfast, the departure will be towards the South East then the gold dunes of the Sahara. Along the way we will appreciate enjoy the landscapes and various different places. Along a mountain road we reach Ifrane, a delightful place characterized by an Afro-alpine climate, the forests of fir and cedar scent the air.
We will continue our trip to Midelt and Errachidia; the plateau at the foot of the Chain of the Middle Atlas is arid and rocky, the vegetation is scarce and changes as we approach the desert. A luxuriant palm grove hides the cultivated patches of land near the Ziz river, while on the horizon. There are attractive golden sand dunes when the sun goes down.
You’ll arrive at Merzouga at the end of the afternoon welcomed with a warm glass of mint tea. After that, you will find your camels are waiting for you to take you for a tour for exploring the sand sea of Merzouga. You will spend the night in the middle of desert camp, where you will have your dinner.

Day 7 : Merzouga – Tinghir – Gorges Of Todra – Dades Gorges – Boulmane Du Dades

In the early morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch one of the best sunrises of your life. Next you will come back to the village of Merzouga. You couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the magical Erg Chebbi sandy dunes. After breakfast in your hotel, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco.
After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as « monkey toes ». Dinner and night will be in a local hotel .

Day 8 : Dades – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast in the hotel, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The road through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs. You’ll have the opportunity to take memorial pictures of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the rose city to purchase rosewater, it have a wonderful smell, enjoy it along your trip. Our next destination is Marrakech via the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now the Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui people.
Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your hotel in Marrakech and having dinner at a local traditional restaurant. Day 9 : Marrakech Wity Tour And The Charm Of The South

After breakfast, you will start exploring Marrakech « the red city of Morocco and it is called also the city of palms. Your guide will give you some information about the history of the red city by visiting several monuments as the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace , the Koutoubia Mosque and the Old Spice Souk .Discover the historic Ben Youseef Coranic school and visit the Majorelle Gardens , one of the most fascinating gardens in Morocco.
Afterwards you will have the opportunity to walk through the souks and through the artisans workshops, before reaching the magnificent Djemaa El Fna Square, the pulsating heart of the city that turns into a unique stage where snake charmers, acrobats, merchants and rows of stalls that cook every type of dish acts as perfectly untidy actors in pure Moroccan style. You’ll have a half board including dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 10 : Marrakech Airport Departure

After breakfast, we will meet you in Marrakech airport. This ends your Morocco Travel experience.
