We will pick you up from your Riad / hotel in Fes at 8:00 am. We will take the road to Midelt through the magnificent high mountains watching the beautiful cedar forest of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane ,a charming ski resort and Azrou which is an important craft center specialized in the work of cedar wood. We arrive in Midelt for having our lunch .
In the afternoon, we will be moving to Erfoud and to the Erg Chebbi’s desert, which is one of the largest areas of windblown sand dunes, where you will spend the night and have the breakfast.
After a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we will go around the Erg Chebbi Gold Dunes. After having a break and enjoying the Moroccan mint tea, we will visit the village of Khamlia, a small village in the Moroccan Sahara famous by their famous authentic music “Gnawa music”. The objective of this visit is to enjoy this special traditional style of spiritual music.
We visit the oasis of Merzouga, which preserves an old irrigation system, and then we will continue the road towards Rissani to explore old palaces and Kasbahs. After a local, delicious lunch, you will return to the hotel at 16:00, you will find camels are waiting for you. They will take you for a tour in the middle of the golden Erg Chebbi Dunes. You will settle in at your Berber biouvac and enjoy the Berber music, and spend a peaceful night under a nomadic tent made of camel hair.
After enjoying a quiet breakfast in the Sahara Desert, we will ride the camel’s back to return to the hotel to take warm shower, next we move to Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble, before continuing the journey between the palm groves. Just after lunch drive to Toudra Gorge, before joining the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a hotel.
After having a Moroccan breakfast, we will explore the gorge by foot. We will pass by El Kelaa M’gouna towards Dades valley, the Valley of Roses and the road of the thousand Kasbah, then Ouarzazate. You will have your lunch at Ait Behaddou village which is a famous place in Morocco. Then, we cross the High Atlas via the Tizi-N-Ticha passage. The arrival to Marrakech will be in the evening.
