The Ourika River is a small sloping river running in a valley of the same name. The river originates from the High Atlas Mountains to the southeast of Marrakech in central Morocco. The river is fed by melted snow water at the tops of the mountains. There are small farms on both sides of the river that provide Marrakech with vegetables.
Asni is a Moroccan village in the Haouz region. Asni is about 50 kilometers from Marrakech on the road between Marrakech and Taroudant via Tahanaout. The village has 25,153 inhabitants (2014 census). You can see the famous highest mountain Toubkal (4167 meters), it may be covered by snow which give it more natural beauty.
